Living at Home
Many homes in my local area and in other places in peru such as small towns and forest houses are made out of Adobe. Adobe is a natural building material made from sand, clay, water, and some kinds of organic material (sticks, straw, and/or manure), which the builders shape into bricks using frames and dry in the sun. Adobe buildings are similar to cob and mudbrick buildings. Adobe structures are extremely durable, and account for some of the oldest existing buildings in the world. In hot climates, compared with wooden buildings, adobe buildings offer significant advantages due to their greater thermal mass, but they are known to be particularly strong during earthquakes.
In my family everyone has a job, from cooking dinner to washing up it's all hard work. Our parents are usually out working and so we go to school, when we aren't at school though me and my friends who live in the same street like to go out for walks usually admiring the birds and other nature aruond us. When we are at home we are drawing, I do not know one person in my street who does not like drawing especially when it rains outside and there isn't much else we can do. My parents trust that when I go out with friends we stay at a suitible distance from the house not wandering off too far. A child can be fully trusted to go where they want when they come to the age of 17. This will change depending on the area.
The main threat in the Aymaran culture is lack of money to buy food, work for money and purchase medicine or call doctors. There are not many doctors in the area and many children suffer ilness. These are not major disieses, just common cold but with not many doctors and no money to buy medicine a common cold can turn into a deadly flu.
